"The Anchoros City"
My first real attempt to make a digital matte painting. I learned a lot during this work, I tried basic technics like a blending of photos, textures and painted parts and creating realistic light scene.... my first focus was creating a dark "medieval" atmosphere with using of heavy clouds, but during progres I decided to change it into the nice warm day as you can see... I thought I could use a lot of photos and just bit of painting but at last I had to paint many things myself (sky, clouds, city, river), so it took a little more time than I counted with.... (about 12 hours).... Perhaps this isn't the final version.... comments are welcomed  |
